BBQ / Asado Knives
Hand rubbed carbon 1075.
4 3/4" (12 cm) blade, 5 1/8" (13 cm) handle. Overall 9 7/8" (25 cm) It weights about 4.5 oz (130 grams)
Wood handle with nickel silver pins. Thumb / index rest. |
Estoque - Letter Opener
7 5/8" 1075 satined & decorated blade - 12 1/4" Overall length.
Handle and saya in a nice looking but mystery wood.

Damascus Bowie
7 5/8" blade in San Mai Damascus from Ariel Salaverria (1010/1070 sides, 5160 core) - 12.5" Overall length. 6mm thickness.
Red deer stag and sheep horn handle with spacer and pins in nickel silver. SS lanyard hole. Filed damascus guard.
Hand made and decorated leather sheath. |

7 1/2" hand rubbed 5160 blade. 1/4" thickness. Overall length 12 1/2"
Nickel silver guard, spacers and buttcap. Handle in Axis deer stag, guayubira and ebony. Leather sheath. |

Ruben Calo Wakizashi
15 3/4" (40 cm) 9260 acid etched matte finish, differentialy HT'd blade - 23" (58 cm) Overall length. 1/4" (6 mm) thickness. It weights 1.4 pounds (625 grams)
Sori (blade curvature) is 0.4" (10 mm)
Tsuba (guard) in heat colored, worked and filed O1.
Tsuka (handle) in painted and laquered guatambu wood with leather tiento wrapped over. Mekugi (peg / pin) in natural guatambu wood.
Saya (scabbard) also in in painted and laquered guatambu wood. Fittings in hammered and goldened nickel silver, with details in tumbaga and bronze. Total lenght when inside the saya is about 25" Total weight is 2 pounds (950 grams) |

New School Old Classic Slipjoint
3 5/32" worked and acid etched 1075 blade. About 5/32" thickness (3.5 mm to be exact). Overall length 7 5/8"
Textured green G10 handles. Fileworked pivot and slipjoint mechanism in stainless steel. Fileworked thumbrest. Leather lanyard with sterling silver end caps. It weights just 80 grams (2.82 oz) and just 9 mm thick (a hair less than 3/8") |
