Mini Knife
2" blade in hand rubbed N678 (Bohler) 4" Overall
lenght.
Red micarta handle slabs. Serrated thumbrest. Handstitched
leather sheath. |
Arm Dagger
3" blade in hand rubbed N678 (Bohler) 6" Overall
lenght. Blade is dremel worked to look aged/damasquined.
Inner "strand" of sheephorn handle slabs with
a mosaic pin. Handstitched leather sheath. |
Stag Persian
6 1/4" N678 (Austrian stainless steel) blade - 12"
Overall length. Double flat ground, satin handrubbed finish.
4.2mm thickness.
Fileworked guard in laminated damascus. Spacer in nickel
silver and blue fiber. Premium quality Red Deer stag handle
with a san mai damascus worked butt cap. Decorated hand
made leather sheath. |
San Mai Pig
Sticker
9 1/2" San Mai damascus (damascus bar from Ariel
Salaverria - 1010 and 1070 with a 52100 core) blade -
14 1/2" Overall length. File work on the spine. Fileworked
guard in mokume (steel, iron and bronze). Sheep horn handle
slabs with SS/bronze pins.
Lanyard in braided leather with sterling silver caps and
ebony adjuster. Hand made leather sheath with a sterling
silver horse detail circled in nickel silver. |

Persian Kard
8" 1/2 AISI 9260 blade (Swedish steel), with fileworked
spine. Overall length: 13" 3/4.
Handle in axis deer stag, dyed and "aged", with
nickel silver bolster and guard in simil gold.
Pommel in chiseled nickel silver with a sterling silver
sphere.
Sheath in worked leather, with nickel silver and sterling
silver fittings, chiseled with floral motives.
This is the finished knife of the tutorial that will
go on the book, "100 Custom Knives in the Making"
by David Darom, to be introduced to the public on Blade
2006.
